Although it's not 100% horror and the Nemesis parts are highly scripted unlike with "Mr. X" for Resident Evil 2 Remake, I believe it is still a pretty good game in its own right if we try not to compare it too much to previous installment for which I believe was "perfect" for me. It has both horror and action elements and I like the "balance" between the two. I played it for only 6 hours on standard difficulty but I believe you can play it longer especially if you played it on hardcore since it will force you to slow your pace and be more strategic which I felt a lot for Resident Evil 2 and I believe is a core of Resident Evil (to be strategic, like item management and deciding what to bring on the next room) and also to slow down and explore every corner to be how a Resident Evil game should be played. Kind of sad also that there are also no ink ribbons for hardcore mode! For people who love playing Resident Evil like the Resident Evil of yore this is sort of heartbreaking lol.
