Im torn with this one to be honest.It features one of my two favorite points in a AVP storyline:The Predalien Hybrid and using The Predator as a main character.It is quite fun to watch the predator move around figuring things out on his own and fighting the humans and Xenomorphs with his plentiful gadgets.One of the main complaints is that the film is literally very dark,in some scenes yes the lighting is almost nonexistent rendering the great creature effects as mere silhouettes.My main criticisms for this one is first off why choose the small town as the setting? Most likely to save money i guess but only comes off as super cliche,although its forgivable for some cool fight sequences such as the power plant and hospital scenes.The gore in this one is also very extreme plus there are some very bizarre and morbid scenes such as the focus on the father and son being attacked by facehuggers,later showing the chestbursters rip through them.Later on the Predator disintegrates their corpses to remove any trace of the aliens' presence and to top it off it shows the mother passing out missing persons flyers for them! Even for an Alien or Predator film this is pretty trashy and extreme. The Predalien is well designed but underutilized at the end of the day(it is one of my favorite collectible figures since its the only neca release for the predalien).It seems as though the two directors on the this one just wanted to take the basic approach mainly utilizing the wonderful Xenomorphs as simply a monster running around causing havoc without the suspense or mystery the other films invoke.All in all fans will enjoy it on a visceral guilty pleasure level but others beware,unless you enjoy seeing a pregnant woman give birth to multiple aliens and subsequently die or a whole town get vaporized

More boneheaded than 2009's Halloween II,more pointless than Halloween 6,yet not as reviled as Halloween III....this is Halloween Resurrection. Sitting uncomfortably between the series's less desirable entries,it pathetically attempts to appeal to the early 2000s crowd with webcams,rappers,cellphones,and a horrible soundtrack.Oh and theres ALOT of bad acting in this one as well.Its probably most well known for Busta Rhymes karate kicking Michael or the fact that Laurie Strode was awkwardly killed off in the beginning which doesnt even matter anymore since Halloween 2018 brings her back.I only give this an extra star because Michael does us the service of offing most of the unlikeable characters and it is still a Halloween film.Whats puzzling to me still is that Rick Rosenthal the director of 1981's Halloween II most likely gave in to the studio demanding to update the formula with tech devices and new age characters making pop culture references because you cant even tell that he made this.If you are a diehard than its worth watch strictly as a guilty pleasure,but if you are not stay away

I dont know why the critics hated this movie so much when it came out.Its a decent little horror movie that goes for more scares than bloodletting.worth checking out

This show is so bad i was dying laughing within the first 20 minutes😂 Who greenlit the script?? Such awful acting and ridiculous plot,its funny as hell but theres no way you can take this seriously, guaranteed cancelled if it even makes it to the final episode 😂

Not entirely unfunny family movie but still falls into the same category as the Pacifier,Spy Next Door,See Spot Run,Cheaper By the Dozen and Furry Vengeance by going for cheap laughs with annoying children causing mayhem for the adults which seems to be the only way the screenwriters can churn out laughs.Some good moments between the main cast(good little scene between John Cena and Dennis Haysbert) but the children are absolutely annoying as they proceed to destroy the fire station.Final Note:Keegan Michael Key is not funny in movies.Need evidence?look up scenes with him from Horrible Bosses 2,The Predator,Why Him,and this movie.
