As a Romanian from the actual region where Valahia (not Wallachia) used to be. I find it funny every time the anime messes up any sort of Romanian pronunciation. I seriously wonder if they bothered to hire any Romanian speaker for the show. Not even Dracula’s family name Țepeș is not pronounced correctly. Makes me laugh each time, also Târgoviște is totally off. Despite all that I am humble and happy someone at least took some interest in our history and made something really good to watch outta it. Names like Lucy and Bemount would have never existed also the villagers call each other mate and many things have absolutely no historical accuracy. Still I just watched the first season so far but I’m into it. Great animation and one of the best dialogue reactions I’ve ever heard in an anime/cartoon.
