Galit Ginzburg

Definitely one of my favourite books. True, it follows the rules of a romantic comedy, but it's extremely easy to sympathise with the the main character who is funny, with a sharp tongue and also a bit insecure due to her regular looks. It's also a lesson about kindness and friendship. The kind of book that warms your heart.

I listened to the book. Simply loved it. Especially Ellie's story which indicates a maturity process. I also like the way the writer changes her writing style from the sixties till nowadays. Thank god for happy endings... It would have been much harder otherwise. I wish the writer would have smeared it a bit more. It ends abruptly. BTW, once read, my advise is not to watch the movie. Ever.
