Manoj Bajpayee is a pleasure to watch and the heart of the show.
However, I expected S3 to be less predictable - I think they gave away too many clues that Sambit was the double agent way too early; the writers should have been more graceful in exposing him.
Bringing back Zoya made me resent her character - she didn’t really contribute any meaningful signal to the show; just a deliberate ghost of the past.
Also, the clueless and slightly stupid PM with questionable advisors is a cliché and unimaginative.
Rukma was an interesting character, he had a decent story line but the character itself? Just like before, dated and expired - done many times in the west.
Making Srikanth a rogue agent was also a bit played out - it’s almost like a rite of passage for spy franchises.
I didn’t feel a lot of creativity in S3, felt that the writers did a poor recreation of the hollywood spy genre.
The 4/5 is because of S1/S2, but I guess it’s also the bias of an Indian spy show (this can’t last forever); unless future seasons remedy this - it will turn out a disappointment as it drags on.
