Manoj Bajpayee is a pleasure to watch and the heart of the show. However, I expected S3 to be less predictable - I think they gave away too many clues that Sambit was the double agent way too early; the writers should have been more graceful in exposing him. Bringing back Zoya made me resent her character - she didn’t really contribute any meaningful signal to the show; just a deliberate ghost of the past. Also, the clueless and slightly stupid PM with questionable advisors is a cliché and unimaginative. Rukma was an interesting character, he had a decent story line but the character itself? Just like before, dated and expired - done many times in the west. Making Srikanth a rogue agent was also a bit played out - it’s almost like a rite of passage for spy franchises. I didn’t feel a lot of creativity in S3, felt that the writers did a poor recreation of the hollywood spy genre. The 4/5 is because of S1/S2, but I guess it’s also the bias of an Indian spy show (this can’t last forever); unless future seasons remedy this - it will turn out a disappointment as it drags on.

Had me in tears in the end, reminds me of my time in Potheri during the second lockdown - was relieving to see him make it out of that hell hole, and achieve great fame for him and his village. Very powerful story telling and love the rawness of the movie.

From an artistic perspective, the entire movie is absolutely a thriller to watch, the climax is especially shocking. I loved how experimental the story telling was, and that the direction let the story line play out at a good enough pace. It’s bold and powerful, I feel extremely stimulated with emotion; it wasn’t a movie that I could predict the ending of. It’s 100% a movie worth watching. I can already visualize the bollywood remake for this, extremely creative.

I’m taking half a star away because of how it ended. It’s a must watch. — Spoliers — Amazing visuals, great concept - but the science wasn’t well founded unfortunately. When you’ve made attempts throughout to be scientifically accurate, jumping into a blackhole should kill you - no amount of progress in science or research can or will alter this. It’s the truth. Meh; but even then - the story makes up for it with fun plot twists and great visuals and a mystique yet scary vibe overall. An amazing thriller.
