This is nothing like the original Spirit movie. In fact, I am frustrated that the TV show producers would capitalize on the popularity and credibility of the original Spirit movie. The plot is completely different. If you are expecting to watch a continuation of Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron, that is a false presumption.

I have watched this movie at least 25 times and I find new meaning every time I watch it. The symbolism is timeless. The soundtrack is perfectly aligned with the plot.
