Awesome remake of West Side Story. A typical Steven Spielberg project. It was superbly crafted and as poignant and powerful as ever. A great cast with beautiful voices and masterful choreography. Utilizing Rita Moreno as Doc’s wife was a stroke of genius. The crowd in our theater seemed stunned at the end of the production. We spoke to a number of the other members of the audience and everyone loved it. Of course the music and lyrics of Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondenheim are timeless. One of the best musical scores ever.
