I genuinely loved this movie. Firstly, I never watched the original until after I watched the remake and honestly the remake is way better to me. I know the original is a cult classic, but to me it was a little cheesy and immature. This remake was a great love story with plenty of action and heart and the way he killed the villians was brutally satisfying. I honestly don't know why the critics don't like this movie but to anyone who is interested in seeing it, don't listen to them, watch it and judge it for yourself.
