This film is a slice of life that follows a similar formula and pacing to the 1954 film. *Yes. Godzilla isn't in the movie alot... He wasn't in the movie alot in 1954. *Yes. the plot was revolving around 2 publicly disgraced people trying to solve their inner demons... I mean the original film had a love triangle Trying to sort itself out while investing shipwrecks... This film has flaws but it's a period piece that honestly did better than expected for a reboot
