An unexpected pleasure to watch... I've seen lots of Westerns...this is one of my new favorites! Gene Hackman plays a cowboy with honorable values. The ending is uplifting.

There are very good reasons why these stories are so beloved. George is basically a "Good Monkey" who gets into lots of mischief. His friend, The man With The Yellow Hat, is always able to help him out and loves him just as he is. His adventures are easy for kids to relate to and his curiosity results in great fun.
