Teresa Hafele

I got into Downton late, seeing the 1st movie and then watching and rewatching the series. I absolutely love the show and the characters. Charming, clever, devious. So much anticipation for A New Era. Visually it didn’t disappoint. But the plot was choppy. I wanted to see Edith’s baby and the other children be more a part of the story. Cora being sick but OK was just filler. Isobel and Dickie were so little in the movie. Same with Rosemund. Hoping Daisy and Andy were expanding their family. All the things about the Crawly family was left out. The movie aspect was dumb. Singing In The Rain meets Downton. Still, I hope for a third movie, maybe this time about the family.
