Post thirty years this film gets better everytime I watch it! Keaton is so good and likeable, I keep finding new jokes but I don’t think gen z will get the references The supporting cast are truly fantastic comedy timing at its best and Tim burton is wonderful peculiar director. This should have won an Oscar !

Now I thought this was entertaining The back story was good and the reason why she was a widow Minus one point for ray Winston’s accent it was just awful. Good support actors and great way to escape for a few hours

A bit woke for my taste and it felt the magic had gone . It was like everyone must have a happy ending and the sheriff was just not believable. Dance with the devil and expect to be betrayed Ok I get it he gets angry and can’t control it . But he controlled it pretty well and humans don’t react like that. Cage fighters are usually survivors and use their anger and let loose but it was like activating a switch. Where was the rage?

Oh good god what were they thinking? What was the analogy? What was the theme? I know this is an alternate reality but really is the one without sense ? Kirk boredom matched mine when I watched it. Even the stunts were mundane! I just didn’t get the feel for this film

This is Star Trek on Acid and the ship needs a counsellor to quell the neurotic characters Mariner is loud and annoying But willing to show their vulnerability when she is written well Very good one liners in each episode and like the Easter eggs in everybody else . It would be nice for them to have a serious story but that is not the theme

I too have a soft spot for this programme. Season 4 was good then it got cancelled ! The Romulan wars would have been a good plot and founding of the federation. Season 3 was a response to 9/11 Mixed feelings but it goes to show what survival means Sato and Reid deserved better and Mayweather was eye candy ! It deserved another season but the franchise was dying but who knows with the rebirth it may come to cameo or they become the admirals !

A very good premise but not all characters were well rounded. Chakotay could have been developed more as well as Kim It bugged me that Paris was demoted then promoted. No wonder Harry Kim became rebellious and yet they didn’t use that. The Borg was used to many times but it was a nice touch to give them a bit of culture Tuvok was also under used and Nelix .. well less said the better Robert Picardo poaching skills are legendary as well as Kate Mulgrew. Prime directive plots when it was suited and timelines and continuity is a bit shady

Not going to lie this got better with the seasons. War is inevitable and that’s the whole arc. Kira Nerys, Dax and O’Brien were fully developed and Quark saved the Ferengi . Exploration of faith and atheism beautifully compared and the we must do the right thing against end justifies the means. Terran or freedom fighter you choose Questions like that was the soul of the show !
