Shirley Gill

I loved this film! I first read the book which is beautiful. I then saw the film at the cinema which didn't disappoint at all as it reflected the same hauntingly beautiful atmosphere of the book. I have since seen the film again on TV and again I was riveted to the screen. The scenery is beautiful with amazing sea scapes. The acting is superb and the end, although I know whats coming, still moved me to tears, something that doesn't happen often. I don't know how any of the professional critics can give this film a negative comment because to me it's one of the most beautiful films I've ever seen.
