Definitely an outstanding run-n-gun platformer. Valfaris reminds me of the violent games from the hayday of the early 32-bit era. Games like Skeleton Warriors, Project Overkill, and Loaded. Its tough to master, but it's also fair. Great balance, awesome aesthetic, killer soundtrack, and enormous fun factor. It's simply one of the finest examples of its genre.
