I am so disappointed that the front picture for the 2020 calendar was won by Michelle for her mouse in an apple photo. When I first saw this photo I was blown away with it. I believed it to be a truly wonderful wildlife shot that was amazing. However, watching country file this evening, I am flabbergasted to learn that the photo was a set up/staged. Whilst the photo is clearly lovely, in my view there were other shots (such as the hares running through the meadow) that are now much more deserving as they are natural. I am so disappointed and surprised too that people are happy to accept this photo as a winner. Did they know it was staged?
