A lot of people hate this game and blame it for the downfall of the paper mario series, but this game is probably the best one. This paper mario is more like a spinoff of paper mario then a direct sequel. They removed the turn-based battle system and made it a platformer are some common complaints. The story in this game is the best story in paper mario, no, the best story in a mario game. Mario and Luigi are just chilling when a toad tells them the princess has been kidnapped. They go to bowser and then the villain of this game, count bleck, shows up and takes everyone. Bowser, his minions, Luigi, the princess. The only one left is mario. Bleck makes peach and bowser get married creating the chaos heart opening a void that will destroy all dimensions. Mario needs to get the pure hearts to destroy the chaos heart and save all known dimensions. I wont spoil all the rest of the story, but the characters are great. Blecks backstory is amazing, the music, the ending and the twists. They are all amazing.
