Very much enjoyed watching so far. Main character is in mode of ‘Jack Reacher’ before he got hackneyed and stale with scarcely suppressed violence simmering just below the surface all the result of past suffering that is thickly ladled on. It’s well done. His side kicks are equally traumatised. This is policing Sweeney style where the rule book is useful only as toilet paper. This lends an air of incredulity to the whole thing which is added to by all the characters fulfilling their sterotypical roles. But that’s ok as it truly is the fun cheering on the hero on his quest. The plotting is intricate and is reminiscent of the golden age of detective fiction with plenty of ‘clues’ dropped in and an intricate web is woven. Sustaining attention over 9 episodes is hard, but there are few dull moments.
