I'm out of superlatives for this movie. For these people, it's an art form, it's not about profit, it's not about making something that's easily understandable or easy to comprehend; it's about creating something avant garde and challenging, exploring the areas that are neglected when the goal is profit. I'm not a person that likes watching movies religiously, so when I found something new that goes against the ideas and concepts of a typical for-profit movie, such as a happy ending, kiddie themes, and just overall thinness, it was such a relief. So to go into this movie expecting something for casual enjoyment, you're going to be disappointed. Serious time and energy was put into this film and so you should reciprocate. As a person who likes and enjoys psychoanalysis, the characters are easily the best part. Each one is distinct from one another, they all have defining characteristics, and for the main character, Azulín, we dive DEEP into their psyche and understand what makes them act the way they do. This amount of character development is totally devoid in most films, and so if you like that, than that's definitely here. Personally, it's just so much different than anything I've ever seen out of a movie, and that's what makes it so good.
