The special fx are excellent, a visual treat. However it failed to engage me at any deeper level due to its typical hollywood storyline with too many wooden characters especially the baddies, and too much a remake of the first Avatar storyline. I ended up getting a bit bored and wanting the very long film to end quicker than it did.
