Truly disappointing. The film had a great set-up and I didn't mind the jump-cuts to various character perspectives, but all this build-up eventually lead to nothing. The signs, the characters, the metaphors and imagery were thrown into the movie and left up to audience interpretation without any support. As the previous reviews have stated, numerous symbols were left unexplained. It was a decent surface level horror at best, but to claim it's so thought-provoking, "deep", and revolutionary is just false-advertising. Holding this movie on the same pedestal as a Jordan Peele feature is a shame.....please do better.
