Oy. The only positives was that is was only 4 episodes; I just about made it through. Some fine actors in this but wasted on a stupid story and dragged out scenes of seascapes and annoying moody music. SPOILERS FOLLOW : The plot was unbelievable and raised so many questions; one of the main ones being why didn’t Pete/Maddie do a little digging in around on-line earlier (and only when suggested by a supporting character) rather than crying and being victims of bullying ogre Miles. Call me heartless but by end of episode 3 I was beginning to despise them for their sad-sack helplessness and almost changed sides to hope that bad man Miles and scared wife won the legal battle; at least he had a plan :) . I was wondering how the hell the writers would actually resolve the story but of course they did, somewhat lamely, and the baddy dies and the goodies live happily ever-after. But there remain so many other questions (eg how was Miles so rich when he didn’t seem to work, was always playing with the kid and was not smart enough to figure out when he had been rumbled courtesy of Dr google).
