Very emotional - heavy. I paused the tape a few times to clear my eyes and gather myself. Artistic visuals, slow, lingering, bold. Enjoyed the constant crossing between Love (the couple's story) and Pain (the plight of black men in U.S.). Shows on film that we (Africans) are not one dimensional beings, but have complex lives with deep relationships too. Really appreciated that.
