I have just finished reading The Indispensables; it was so well written and carried my attention to the point that I looked alarmingly at the speed at which I was nearing the end. I love that the author spends so much time gathering first hand accounts, and records and weaving them into the story, it brings history the history to life and adds flesh and bones to the names. A great read about the most important events in our nation's history.
