I've recently completed a couple series that were only one season long. Each episode was purposeful and there were few subplots. Characters were established early and well developed. One series that stood out was Midnight Mass.
From bores with too many characters in too many situations with too many subplots. Here we are at Episode 9 with little to go on, annoying under developed characters, wasted scenes and so few answers to... everything. If From just focused on the monsters alone that in itself could be a full fleshed out story. But no, let's jump from one idea, then drop it, then jump to another.
I am waiting for big reveals in Episode 10. I never watched Lost, but if this heads in that direction I am out. Don't waste my time with a half baked storyline.
