Three stars was actual choice but that was not completely fare. Sara is the most pathetic character. She is more of an anti-hero, and leaving her daughter like she does was bad music for the show. Most or the majority of characters performed well. The direction was well done and the cinematography was good. I just could not get ove the stupidity of Sara. She just could not get anything right or do the right thing. Donnie and Ainsley were relief comedy but they could have been developed just a bit better with a bit more seriousness to the overall situation. Helena is a great character, Well balanced but maybe a bit too comedic. Felix works but the Cosima and Delphine was a bit overplayed, not that it is was not workable but I believe was deliberately pushed and unnecessary to the whole of the program.I believe Art could have had more play time. He is a good character who could have contributed more. Despite some of the flaws it is a respectable program it is just that Sara is the most pathetic and useless character in the whole series. She could be easily removed and it would not harm the program. Sara was the cause for the 4 star rating...just simply stupid. Her character could have been so much more and why she was made to be such and idiot I have no idea. Despite this you can get over it and watch. You should still be able to enjoy it.

Entertaining. Acting was well done, direction was really professional, photography was rather amazing. The whole program was captivating. The plot and the varying themes that threaded through the complete season one. Where is season two, I cannot find it. What is it with Amazon Prime. So often bits and pieces are offered and complete seasons are missing. If you are wanting to be entertained Britiannia is an excellent program to watch.

Magnificent piece of work. Kitchen was brilliant as was Honeysuckel. This program will be most difficult to beat by all standards. It is a benchmark show which many programers need to pay attention too.

Great performance, great entertainment. The best part of this show is the severe lack of profanity and nudity.

I believed Wire in the Blood was well done. There is a humor to it which works and does not interfere with the serious nature of the program. If each episode were not so long it would be easy to binge on so I had to watch in piece-meal fashion. The characters were well shaped. It is worthy entertainment to watch.

Fantastic film. Watched it mostly because of Sean Harris. Great acting, the director clearly was perceptive of how the characters should present themselves. The filmography was excellent albeit it was heavy with chiaroscuro. More light could have made some scenes more alive. However this chiaroscuro style plays to the times. More Candles please, candles, candles, let there be light. The chiaroscuro style is not my favorite but it does make sense for the film. If you have a propensity for this type of film you will certainly enjoy it as the narrative and dialogue is very well done and the actors had the perceptiveness to communicate the character.

AFA excoriated the film as the destruction of an innocent, magnificent piece of literature. Homosexuality was explicitly trounced upon and liberalism of women. AFA is pathetically imprisoned in fundamental fatalism. Ignoring the Victorian ignorance, Anne with an E was simply marvelous, delicious, scrumptious, dazzling, and exuberating. It is also spiced with romance of youth, diversity of 1900 thinking with the exception of a few characters, Anne, Miss Stacey, Gilbert and Matthew although he was rather silent. Netflix was exemplary with taste in presenting modern day ideology into a 100 period piece. Albeit I strongly castigate Netflix for its nefarious effort to normalize Twenty-First Century thinking. Netflix did manage to portray the film with respectful taste. Although Netflix produces and posts a lot of pure trash and sewage they have demonstrated the ability to provide its audience with some uplifting and cherishable film. If you have not watched Anne of Green Gables you must do so. It follows the book rather closely but due to its length it has taken creative licenses to craft a charming an beautiful film. Watch it.

Watched this several years back. Simply an amazing series. To say anymore would be to detract from its magnificence. Watch and see.
