Ballard really surprised me in the best way. Maggie Q as Renée Ballard is absolutely perfect ,tough, smart, but still real and human. The cases kept me hooked, and I love how they tied smaller stories into the bigger arc without losing momentum. It’s gritty but never feels overdone, and the whole cast brings great energy. Honestly, this is one of the best crime dramas I’ve watched in a long time.
