Unfortunately, my mother bought a one hundred year old house in Wisconsin back in the day. After ten years living there her health failed and the two ladies who rented rooms from her became ill. Later after her passing we found out that the basement was leeching methane and carbon monoxide. This TV series reminds me of how we have overwhelming ignored the knowledge of the Native Americans who knew from 20,000 years of location wisdom and stewardship of where to live and not to live. Basically, this story and show is about stupid locations by the settler colonials and the plotline also packed with schizophrenia inherited. Further it takes generational trauma and places that on top of the cake. Here, it is all worth watching if one understands the nuance and can simply watch it for the dark lighting and excellent actor performances.

Best action movie ever. This thing is f**king legend. It has so many new Finnish hero myths for us to learn and a ton of call backs to Sergio Leone films to Tarantino to Kurosawa. I see some other influences in there with easter eggs from Hang Em High (Ted Post) to Valhalla Rising (Nicolas Refn), to the John Wick dog sublayer. I mean sign me up for a Finnish western please. Holy hell. I am breathless. The fight scene violence is brutal, bloody, fantastic and never ending. Super stoked about the layer given to the women as well. Just, thank you Jalmari Helander and Finland cinema.

Do not watch if you are female. Every female role is demonized, crazy, and possessed. While all the male roles are victimized. Probably one of the most blatant misogynistic movies in the last few years. Don't let the writer or director say it was parody or irony on our behalf. This is tragedy trash for men.

At first i liked it, as I appreciate the cast and the insider scoop on morning television, but two constantly repeating occurrences turned me off. Women: yelling, crying, freaking out, abusive Men: innocent victim passive zombies Also there is only one main star in this show: Cory Ellison the CEO guy played by Billy Crudup. Clearly this is the creator/writers version of himself. What I asked myself is are there any women in the writers room? Is there even a female (who is not an actress) that gets the final pass on each script? Doesn't look like it.
