One of the best movies ever made. However, to appreciate this movie, one must watch the original Godfather to understand the backstory of Vito Corleone (played by Robert DiNiro) and the continuation of Michael Corleones rise to power and his systematic method of wiping out everyone associated with violence against his father/family (the so called “other mafia families”. As he says on the day he is to become Godfather of his sisters child, “Today is the day that we settle all family business”. Five stars.
