Completely agree with James. The people who are applauding the show because it "avoids stereotypes" are wrong. In an almost comical way, it perpetuates the stereotype of the woke version of reality, where you get to stab the white guy in the neck in Ep2 so you can leave the playing field almost entirely to BIPOCs. Could we have even a JEWISH physicist perhaps? I understand that there are a few of those around. The casting is an enormous distraction from the tale, and James is also right that the scripts, in general, kind of suck.
