Jean Grey

I really empathize with Barrymore's character (Beverly). Some reviews judge her harshly but also having had a hard life myself I understand why she was the way she was. She genuinely loved her son but she didn't love herself and when you don't know how to love yourself it's almost impossible to give or show that love to another even if it's your own child. This movie is like a therapy session it causes you to reflect on your own life and flaws. 10/10

It's a really good show. I gave 4 stars because I rarely give out 5 stars unless I feel the show is absolutely flawless (i.e. the show Oz I gave 5 stars). Anyway, what drew me to watch this was the cast (Kim Fields, Mike Epps, Wanda Sykes) I have watched them all in movies and TV shows throughout the years and I enjoy them all. Now I'm going to be honest, when I watched episode 1 I thought the show was kinda garbage. I turned it off and ignored the show while it sat in my list for at least a week. Then one day out of boredom I said "let me give it one more shot" because I really like and respect the actors who are in the show. I watched the next 2 episodes and it finally grew on me. I went from being like "oh ok this isn't bad" to laughing loudly in the other room. I say to anyone who reads this, give it a chance. It starts off feeling kind of cheap to eventually showing it's true colors with the story line and the comedy. Wanda is a co-producer (I think) and her jokes as the show progress get funnier and funnier. Also I think the actors who play the older kids are really talented. They deliver the comedy as well.
