Onyx's Ghost

Came into watching this with high expectations from the trailer, thought it would be a nice coming of age type story about friendship and sexuality and gender realizations. whilst i wasn’t completely wrong, the ending where the trans character (whos entire plot is that they’re trans) turns out to not be trans after all and kisses the supposed gay character felt extremely wrong to me, whilst the cast and writer excuse it as being ‘to show how identities are always changing and fluid’ it honestly feels like the message is that ‘its just a phase’. The blatant pedophilia in the show is never addressed nor do the characters face repercussions for their actions, the scenes were unnecessary long and not in the slow burn way, but in the constantly skipping forward 10 seconds way because im watching someone walking or the camera zooming in on something for a minute straight for the 50th time. i get that the series is supposed to be artistic and confusing but honestly to me it just felt like poor writing and planning seeing as literally nothing actually happens in the show. If i, a barely 14 year old could pick up on all this then its safe to say that this series is not worth practically 8 hours of your time.
