Hello! My name is Rishi, and I'm 16 years old as I write this review:
The Longest Whale song is by far the best book written by Jacqueline Wilson. It always brings tears to my eyes, no matter how many times I read it. Jacqueline Wilson has woven this story from straws to gold and she deserves recognition. The ending really satisfied me and made me exhale a breath I didn't realize I was holding.
I enjoyed reading about the friendship that developed between young Ella and her stepfather, Jack. Jacqueline Wilson writes extraordinary heartfelt stories. She has mastered the art of realism as she writes about real-life obstacles endured by children- such as friendships, bullying and family conflicts- with deep emotion. Once again, kudos to Jacqueline Wilson for crafting this fine book.
Thank you!
