Very disappointed so far. Another Hollywood rewrite. I wish they would let Danny and Baez move into a new chapter of their lives...how many years have we been waiting for it to happen? Just a total dis to longtime fans IMHO. As far as the character changes...did they have to drop all the switches on us in the first episode? And the writing is so freaking obvious in comparing one cast to the other. I read another review that stated all the longtime fans of Blue Bloods were probably conservative and didn't want to accept the cast flip. Not true...what made Blue Bloods so good and believable was the character play between the cast and the script writing though I have to say that I thought the writing in the last season or two got lazy. How about this? Since the spinoff was going to be about Danny/Donny moving to Boston and becoming involved in the police force there...how about writing the script where Danny gets into an investigation but realizes he needs help...and in the last few minutes...Baez shows up at the door or maybe on the crime scene. That one thing would bring all the BB fans back every week. Do the writers want the show to succeed or just s@ck?
