I can honestly say I’m obsessed with Stranger Things. It’s not just a series for me it’s like stepping into a whole different world every time. The 80s vibe, the music, the friendships, the horror, the supernatural mystery everything feels so perfectly blended that it keeps me hooked no matter how many times I rewatch it. The characters are written in such a raw and human way that you can’t help but connect with them.
But one thing that always leaves me sad is Billy’s death. Yes, he was introduced as this aggressive, unlikeable guy, but underneath all that anger there was so much pain and vulnerability. Season 3 gave us glimpses of who he really was a broken soul shaped by his toxic upbringing, someone who deserved better than just being remembered as the “bad boy.” His sacrifice was powerful, and it showed that deep down he had a heart, but it still hurts because I feel like his story ended too soon. I would have loved to see more layers of him explored, maybe even a redemption arc.
That’s what Stranger Things does so well it makes you love the world and the people in it so deeply that even after an episode ends, you’re left thinking about them. And Billy, for me, is one of those characters who will always stay unforgettable, not just because of how he died, but because of the complexity he brought to the story.
