Love the show. As a Bible teacher I have seen possibilities in certain episodes in which I thought "I've never seen in that way before, but that's a possibility".
Season 4, episode 3 is not one of those.
1st, this incident is not even hinted in the gospels and the engagement and upcoming marriage between Thomas and his girlfriend takes away precious time which could have used to develop more scriptural plots.
2nd, I agree with the young lady who said it simply "that's not my Jesus.
3rd, Jesus life is controversial enough if you just stick with Biblical narrative.
4th, on an anointed series like this - you don't need the extra-Biblical drama that will spend as much time bring closure to this event in Thomas's life as it took to close the conflict between Peter and Matthew.
