Vettaiyan is another blockbuster hit from Thalaivar. It's not a typical cop movie from thalaivar but a different one where Gnanavel's social message + thalaivar's heroism + mass and punchy dialogues + wonderful screen play + Anirudh's songs, BGM...all put together has worked out very well. Rajini fans will surely get what they want. Few may feel a slight lag in first half but there are mass scenes, good first half & interval + few surprises + Good story that keeps you engaged in second half..Must watch in theatres.. Dushara, Fahad Fazil and iconic Big B Amitabh Bachchan rocked and have done very well. Rithika, Rana, Manju Warrier played their part.. please don't expect like Jailer and Petta..Overall a good thalaivar film with a social message about encounters and education system.
