Nate Lovett

The cast did a great job with what they had to work with. Kamala's character herself is interesting and pretty cool. However, I lost interest after the first few episodes. The narrative felt a bit weak and vaguely generic (similar plot structure to Moon Knight, you know the hero will stop the big conflict, perhaps with loose ends to follow up on in a later movie or another season, and the limited series is basically their intro with no real stakes and consequently no real investment). It seems that the show doesn't have the same level of high quality work going into it that some other MCU content has, such as WandaVision and Loki for example, which is a bit ridiculous seeing as how Disney has enough money to make any of their content really good if they want to (regardless of the grand significance of the character themselves in the MCU).
