How can such a great cast be in such an inferior show? The main culprit here is weak writing. Struggles really hard to be witty, but the only thing I can think of is: leaden. Which means, it’s probably going to sink like a stone.
When I was in college film class, we used to watch some films that were so bad, that we could only conclude that the actors must have had a mortgage payment due.
That must be what has happened here.
