As the movie has a 12A rating, it skirted past some of the darker elements. The script is pantomime, with villains and heros... Malic is genius in the role, so it's worth seeing for that. It is said the movie was made in such a way that it would preserve freddie's memory... It doesn't need it. Freddie was like the rest of us, a mainly decent, mistake making human being.
