I never write reviews, I’m just so disappointed about this movie I have to tell someone 🤣. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Trolls 1 and World Tour, (they’re my favorite animated movies of all time!) and I’ve been looking forward to Band Together ever since it was announced! (I love boy bands!) Maybe my hopes were too high, but I’ve never been this disappointed in a movie since Wonder Woman 2 came out. The storyline was all over the place, the new characters were weird and not likable at all. There was hardly any popular music like the previous two movies. Why add new characters when you could develop the beloved characters of the previous two movies? We didn’t get to see Barb, Biggie had one line…this movie must have had all new writers bc ??? I could go on and on… My family and I didn’t laugh once the entire time. The only positive was that the animation was beautiful. I wish Poppy, Barb, Bridget and Poppy’s sister could have started a girl band to save the day, that would have been so fun. Unfortunately this movie is dumb and I doubt we’ll get more trolls movies after this one. 😩 so sad 😭
