It is rare that I write a review but had to write for this one just because 'Abar Proloy' is a story-based masterclass. Disclaimer: I understand there are people out there who would try to compare this with Hollywood and Bollywood etc. But I believe we should compare ourselves to the past in our lives and in general anything. Hence I strongly state that 'Abar Proloy' just goes on to show that the story, performances, and just a team effort can put such a fine serving on the silver screen. The biggest thing about me was the patience of the Creative team to connect all the dots at the end with a full explanation and sort of dropping curtains on every nuanced cliffhanger throughout the episodes. Till the 8th episode, I felt there were so many mysteries that screamed for an answer which was thrilling. On performances and creativity: I am not an expert but they looked really convincing to me. Be it Saswata, Sohini, Poran... the whole cast as such. Finally, I felt as a moral duty to uplift this; coz we all know we put mindless likes on random not-so-quality shorts and reels so why not praise actual dedication and work? All the best to the team and keep it up!!

The movie is melancholiously beautiful. You feel the bittersweet emotions flowing through every scene. It is no doubt a piece of art. Adriana is just so amazing and her beauty oozes in every scene. Emma Suarez is wonderful and she brings out the pain through every inch of body. It's an emotional experience. Highly recommended to all movie-enthusiasts.
