Kurt and Marissa Lane

Dark matter is a show with so much potential and yet is falling short for me. The problem isn’t the idea of the story, it’s the execution. First, they give away both sides of the equation way too early. Honestly, they should have kept some of the actual storyline a little more guarded than just giving it away in the description. They literally tell you a man is sent to an alternate universe. They should say a man wakes up in a universe that he doesn’t recognize. How did he get there? Who are these people? Why do they think he knows things he doesn’t? That could be part of a story. Nope. All that suspense and intrigue just wasted. Instead, the characters do things that no normal person would do. The whole execution feels very contrived and unfortunate in this show. 3 episodes in. Gonna finish it but it’s already a bust in my opinion.
