The movie is a bit different from its Hollywood version with its touch of south india all over it, which might make the hindi audience unresponsive towards some comedy. The film did it's best to show the improving relationship between a father and his son, but also maintained the storyline to show once a star chef finding his passion of food by being more than a cook i.e. a Chef.
