Please stop writing books about famous DC & Marvel characters. I’m BEGGING YOU! When you do things like this, you don’t seem to realize the damage you’re causing not just to the character’s reputation, but to the way the character is going to be seen and thought of further down the line. This book doesn’t even feel like an actual book, it’s damn near a fanfiction that was somehow published under an author’s name. It ruins Starfire as a character, centers around “Mandy”, who is a self insert with no redeeming qualities and then ends in a dumpster fire. Though I wouldn’t know how it actually ended considering the fact that it was so bad I couldn’t even properly finish it. There’s only so much that good illustration can do to save a book when the writing can’t hold up on it’s own.
