As someone who's played the first Hollow Knight, this game is not good. The first problem is how absurdly long the wait was. Team Cherry stayed quiet for years, teasing trailers, giving vague promises, and building up hype. The fanbase kept the fire alive, thinking all that time meant we’d get something groundbreaking. But when Silksong finally landed, it immediately felt like it hadn’t been worth the wait. Instead of being the evolution of Hollow Knight, it feels like a rushed mod with a shinier coat of paint.
