Being a "spiritual successor" to dead space, hyped me up for this game. Unfortunately it fell so far from the mark that I honestly wish I never played it. Story wise, it almost mirrors Dead Space 2's story. Obviously it's different but the basis is the same. Human race finds alien power. Human race tries to harnass alien power, backfires miserably and causes s**tstorm. Main baddy is bald black guy working for a big "company". Gameplay wise it felt like they just ripped sequences from all 3 dead space games, changed textures, patterns, lighting and area and said "this new game now" Combat was clunky and so annoying, I played the game through a second time and honestly the second playthrough is how it should of felt on the first. With upgraded weapons the game felt normal. Honest to (whoever higher being you pray to) just wait for it to go on sale.
