The movie first of all tells a tale of several characters, but it is the ultimate goal of the team that makes it a triumph! The actors were once known in other movies, however they have surpassed the test of hard knocks, grit of life in the early 20th century, at the height of the depression, prohibition and start of World War II. In love with each character and their individual contributions that helps each character get through their issues. A great movie for those whom are boat, rowing and regatta enthusiasts. The jockey or crew leader, great job and better insight in what they do on the boat. Love the scale, the pace and the dialogue. Well worth viewing in the big screen center of the theater. Not too long of a movie to really feel the length of the movie. Goes by really fast. You get the feel of being in the movie with them experiencing all the emotions from different perspectives.
