My wife loves this show and can't believe it got cancelled.

What is with all the flashback movies. Show the past at the beginning and then dive into the present drama. Too many flash backs, boring. Unrealistic survival techniques ,tossing the lighter only fishing once ,should have camped on higher ground with a signal fire so in case a plane or boat came by they might have found her. Where were all the animals? One bear, owl, & raccoon. That type of woodland should be teeming with wild life.Great scenery,actress was good ,all the rest not good.
