May not be the casual fans favorite, but for those interested in the development of Zappa’s polyrhythmic instrumentals, it’s invaluable.

STEVEN’s debut feature shows his natural facility for drama in motion, action and spectacle and his natural inability to make a comedy.
This Bonnie & Clyde for regular folks teaches us the importance of sympathetic characters and how not to make an action comedy.
I fell in hate with the protagonists who make one idiotic decision after another, and I couldn’t wait for them to get caught.
Fortunately, STEVEN would have another chance, and found a more compelling story in Jaws.
The rest is history.
