Absolutely love this series, must have watched them from beginning to end 8 times through the years, like visiting auld pals. The episodes promote lifelong friendship the importance of community and culture. It can be raw, heartwarming and poignant, all in one show but you'll never leave without a laugh. For non Scottish talkers, you are probably better with subtitles until your ear adjusts to the accents, and mind the hankies for the tears
